Mother’s triple joy – born in 2 minutes
PROUD mother Sabrina McGarry shows off her 160,000-1 identical triplet sons, all born in just 120 seconds.
George, Alex and Thomas each weighed less than 4lb at birth but are now recovering well.
Their 5ft tall mother, who amazed doctors by carrying them for 34 weeks, had a Caesarean section at Calderdale Royal Hospital in Halifax.
Sabrina, 29, who lives in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorks, with sheet metal worker James Harrison, 25, said: “I couldn’t believe it, they all came out in two minutes.”
Identical triplets occur once in every 160,000 naturally conceived births.
